I did two short out-and-backs here, for two reasons. First, I forgot my glasses and couldn't really see the GPS very clearly and then I got worried about getting lost; contrary to what the map shows there are a gazillion islands here at high tide. Second, there really wasn't much to see and I kind of got bored. At high tide there is no place for wading birds to do their thing and no place for alligators to sun. Besides, it seems a bit cold for them right now.
