Cross County Connector Trail
at Wakefield

The Fairfax Cross County Connector Trail covers a lot of ground, over 40 miles from the bottom of the county to the top. I biked a short section of the trail from parking in Wakefield Park off Braddock Road. The section I rode was mostly flat and gently uphill because I was following Accotink Creek upstream. I found it easy without boredom, woodsy in the middle of suburbia.
